Hard to believe the second quarter of the year is here and what a time it is. Easter is our first order of business and a celebration for all Christian, may you have a blessed Easter one and all. And then autumn is on the way!

Even in the Kruger late last month the evidence of the yellow and golden colours started making their appearance. Here in Jozi it is getting darker earlier and lighter later and it is a great time to ensure that we are prepared for the winter.

Financially speaking, it is a great time to review our admin and estate paperwork. I have just finished my own beneficiary review….wow, two divorces later that could have been a tricky estate! Kids, it is all yours now!

On the business front the office is buzzing. Profile and its eclocker and epayslip are a big hit and security companies are lining up for implementations. We have seen Anton Masterson and his team move into the campus and our health and pensions business is up and running. Jacques Strydom, our resident ETI, employment tax incentive specialist is also poised in the new tax year to assist companies with their scorecard strategy and to save them much valued tax from their PAYE account.

Our social media profile is on the up and our new website is live, so Well Done team on that effort.

We do our first Zoom with the surgeons of ASSA next week on a CPD topic, implied consent, and with 900 subscribed to get their CEU points we have a great opportunity to further share the benefits of our Dr Medmal Medical Malpractice indemnity solution from Genoa reinsured by Munich Re the worlds largest reinsurer – and with premium savings of 30-40% over MPS our market competitor….watch this space.

This season is also time to get our own CPD house in order and we encourage all brokers to ensure they ahead of the mid year deadline to have all their points for the year.
